About Paul Cohen

Paul has represented both venture capital in the acquisition of commercial real estate and has raised investment capital for project opportunities. Working under varying market conditions, he has teamed with management and worked in leasing relationships to successfully own and operate many diverse commercial properties.

Tenant relationships include retailers, service shops, and medical practices. His volunteer work involves Special Olympics, Urban Peak Colorado Springs youth shelter, and a two year teaching position in Laos, SE Asia.

Paul has owned and been Principal of Cohen Commercial Properties since 1986.

As an adult, Paul has vast cross-cultural experiences and grew to appreciate the diversity of world civilizations through his travels to Western and Eastern Europe, Mexico, Central and South America, the Caribbean, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Indonesia, Nepal, China, Japan, south Pacific (New Zealand, Australia, Polynesia), Egypt, Israel, East Africa and Kenya.

Trail running; participated in the Pikes Peak Marathon Accent, 2002.  Coached Special Olympics alpine skiing, 1995 to 2000.  Coached Middle School cross-country track team, Colorado Springs School 1998.  Competed in the United States Olympic Sailing Trials as crew, 1976.  Competed inter-collegiate sailing team at the University of California, Irvine, 1970-1971.  Trained, rode and showed horses as a youth.
